A while ago my 50mm 1,8 lens broke after a fall to the floor (it's not really a very sturdy construction with everything in plastic, but the optical quality was great when it worked). The broken pieces of the lens has been laying on my desk for a while now waiting to be transformed into something fun. Today I experimented with using the remains of the it as a makeshift tils/shift lens, but the result looks more like pinhole camera photos. Still it created a pretty nice effect, might have to leave room for it in my camera bag...
