I recently did some experimenting with shooting smoke, it's a bit hard finding a balance between very still smoke and very chaotic, and I'm not sure I found it, but it was fun and I will probably try it again soon. I'm not entirely satisfied with the outcome of this shot, feels it lacks something apart from the smoke, but I still think it has something going for it.

Can i ask what kind of background did you use? i love this shot. I've tried this so many times... Congratulations

Hi Diogo
I used a black studio backdrop and 2 strobelights with softboxes. The
problem was mainly that the incense filled the room pretty fast and
opening a window ruined the smoke twirls.
